[ACADEMIC EVENT] Transalpine Graduate Conference to make the most of your PhD

The Université de Lyon, in partnership with the University of Turin, the Conference of Western Switzerland’s Universities (CUSO), the University of Brescia and the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Genoa, is organizing the Transalpine Graduate Conference with the following theme: "Pave the way for your future career".

A quick look at the transalpine graduate conference

Held on June 25, 26 and 27, 2025, the multicultural, multidisciplinary and bilingual transalpine graduate conference aims to help PhD students prepare for their future careers outside of academia. It brings together PhD students from the Université de Lyon, the University of Turin, the universities of Western Switzerland, the University of Brescia and the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Genoa.


► It will involve practical workshops, job interview simulations and discussions with doctors and business representatives, with a business dinner taking place on June 26.

This event is funded by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and by the project’s partner institutions.
