[PUBLIC EVENT] Lyon hosts the Global Health Festival

From December 9, 2024 to December 20, 2024

From December 9 to 20, Lyon is hosting the Global Health Festival to celebrate the inauguration of the WHO Academy in the Lyon-Gerland Biodistrict. Fifty or so events, organized by a number of local stakeholders, including member and associate institutions of the Université de Lyon, to explore major global health issues.

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Prefecture, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Métropole de Lyon, the City of Lyon and the WHO Academy are organizing a Global Health Festival.

Open to the general public
, this festival will take place from December 9 to 20, 2024 throughout the city of Lyon and its metropolitan area, with a special focus on the Lyon-Gerland Biodistrict, an evolving international hub for global health, celebrating the opening of a new major stakeholder: the WHO Academy.
