On Thursday, March 20, twelve PhD students from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Université Lumière Lyon 2, Université Jean Moulin Lyon 2, Université Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne, Université Gustave Eiffel and INSA Lyon presented their research projects in three minutes, before a jury and a non-specialist audience who voted for their favorite candidate. A crowd of almost 350 people gathered at the Université de Lyon’s Grand Amphithéâtre to support their favorite candidate, with several hundred viewers tuning in to watch the competition online.
