On The September 20, 2024

INDULO, the industrial outreach scheme run by the Université de Lyon and supported by the Métropole de Lyon, welcomed 400 visitors at the careers village held at Place Bellecour during WorldSkills Lyon 2024.

New vocational opportunities at the careers village

For the largest international vocational skills competition, Worldskills Lyon 2024, the city transformed its central Place Bellecour into a veritable careers village. Discovering a diversity of trades from journalists to landscape gardeners and additive manufacturing technicians, the people of Lyon enjoyed a wide range of activities at the exhibition’s stands, all designed to inspire even the youngest visitors.

INDULO at Worldskills

Over 400 people visited INDULO’s stand and were immersed into the heart of industry through the workshops on offer. Visitors were able to discover the materials library to learn about the diversity of materials used in industry, enjoy an introduction to logistics by identifying the best means of transport and even experience the life of a professional through modeling and 3D printing.

INDULO would especially like to thank its sponsor, F3DF, a company specializing in 3D printing. Thanks to their generous contribution, the INDULO team were able to showcase a professional 3D printer as well as an escape box, providing visitors with a better understanding of the specific aspects of additive manufacturing.
